Attorney David M. Edelstein

David Edelstein began his career in the state of Florida as an Assistant Public Defender with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. During his tenure there, he represented both adults and juveniles charged with all types of misdemeanor and felony crimes, ranging from less serious offenses like disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence to more serious crimes like drug trafficking and organized fraud.

Since establishing his law firm 25 years ago, he has expanded his practice to include representing clients facing both state and federal criminal charges throughout the state of Florida, including Broward and Palm Beach counties. He also practices at the appellate level, representing clients in state and federal criminal appeals. In addition, he is a licensed member of the bar in his home state, the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Mr. Edelstein is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed in The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers™.  He has been listed multiple times as a “top lawyer” in the category of criminal defense by Florida Trend Magazine and the South Florida Legal Guide.
